For example, www.domain.com can be the main site, which uses a server's shared IP, and shop.domain.com can be your subdomain where you offer services or goods online and it can have a dedicated IP address in addition to an SSL certificate. You can change the IP that a domain uses from the Hosted Domains section where you can also keep track which IPs are in use and which ones are available. You may also set a couple of of your sites to use a single dedicated IP given that there's no SSL set up for it.
Dedicated IP Address in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you have a semi-dedicated server account, adding a new dedicated IP address takes just a couple of clicks. Our Hepsia Control Panel is very easy and intuitive to use, so even if you have not had a hosting account previously, you won't encounter any difficulties to obtain and assign a dedicated IP. Every domain or subdomain within the account can use its own IP address instead of the server's shared one and you will be able to make this change inside the Hosted Domains section, where you will also see all IPs that your sites can use as well as if a dedicated IP is free or you are already using it. In case that you want an IP for an SSL certificate, we have an SSL order tool through which you can select everything to be set up automatically. Using this feature, our system will change the IP address of the desired domain/subdomain to a dedicated one and it'll install your certificate within a matter of minutes, so you shall not have to do anything on your end other than authorizing your SSL order through e-mail.
Dedicated IP Address in VPS Servers
All of the VPS servers that we provide feature a dedicated IP, so you will not share your IP with some other client with an account on the very same physical machine.
